The very first step in getting drapery panels made or getting a quote is measuring for your new drapes!
By providing the measurements shown in our diagram, we can determine:
- How many yards of fabric
- How many panels
- Length
- Mounting point for drapery hardware.
Our diagram shows how to measure a window or patio doors.
Should you already have a rod installed, please e-mail us a picture of your rod and provide us with the following:
- Length of the rod
- Height from the bottom of the rod to the floor
- Number of rings/snaps
- Height from the floor to ceiling/crown Moulding
- Distance from the window frame to wall or window/door
- Height from top of the window frame to ceiling/crown moulding
- Width of the window or door from the outside edge of the frame/trim
- Distance from the window frame to wall or window/door
